I "dropped" my scooter today, it was that fast. Right now I'm in the local emergency room with the. ballgame on the TV, It could be a lot, lot worse. I've got some nice road burn on my left arm, both knees are scraped up, I'm going to have a decent shiner, I've probably got a sprained ankle and fortunately only a few bruises.
It was sunny and dry and I was going around a very sharp corner when I hit the double yellow line and lost traction, next thing you know I was sliding across the road with the scooter on top of me. I hit the curb hard and truthfully felt more embarrassed than anything else
I just hate being in the hospital and really don't want to let anything slow me down.
